Commodore (Cdre) Maxwell Arhen has handed over the Wheel of Command of the Eastern Naval Command (ENC) to Cdre Solomon Asiedu-Larbi as the new Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) during a brief handing and taking over ceremony on Friday, 16 May 2025.
In his farewell speech during the formal durbar, Cdre Arhen expressed gratitude to the Almighty God, the Military High Command, and all personnel for their unwavering support throughout his tenure. He underscored the importance of cultivating a culture of unity, mutual respect, and a shared mission within the Ghana Navy. Cdre Arhen indicated his appreciation for his reassignment as Commandant, Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) and encouraged his successor to remain confident in his leadership.
Commodore Asiedu-Larbi, in his acceptance remarks, sought the continued support of the ENC personnel, committing to build on the solid foundations laid by his predecessors while striving to propel the Command towards even greater operational effectiveness and strategic success.
