The Eastern Naval Command (ENC) has donated assorted essential items to the MAHLEF Foundation in Tema New Town on Wednesday, 31 December 2025, as part of its 2025 West Africa Soldiers Social Activities (WASSA) celebrations.
The donation included bags of rice, washing powder, soaps, toothpaste, toothbrushes, toiletries, instant noodles, sachets of water, crates of eggs, assorted beverages, detergents, disinfectants and a variety of food products, aimed at supporting the MAHLEF Foundation’s efforts in caring for the less privileged in the Tema New Town community.
The Commanding Officer of Naval Base Tema, Commander Wendell Fiifi Owusu, presented the items on behalf of Flag Officer Commanding Commodore Solomon Asiedu-Larbi, emphasising ENC’s commitment to community development and civil-military relations.
Mr Jesu Robert Crentsil, receiving the items on behalf of the foundation, expressed profound gratitude to ENC and the entire Ghana Navy for the support.
