A delegation from the National Disaster Management Organisation (NADMO), led by the Director-General Major Dr Joseph Bikanyi Kuyon (Rtd), paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Godwin Livinus Bessing at the Naval Headquarters on Thursday 24 April 2025.
The purpose of the visit was to congratulate the CNS on his appointment to the office andpromotion to the rank of a Rear Admiral.
Dr. Kuyon in his remarks highlighted on collaborations between the Ghana Navy on key areas such as disaster management, capacity building and training of personnel as means ofstrengthening the existing relationship between the two institutions.
Rear Admiral Bessing, on his part, expressed appreciation to the delegation for the visit and reaffirmed the Ghana Navy’s commitment to strengthening the cooperation between the Navy and NADMO.
As a gesture of goodwill, the CNS presented a plaque to Dr.Kuyon.
