The United Kingdom (UK) Defence Attaché to Ghana, Commander Richard Walters, has reaffirmed the UK’s commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Ghana during a visit to the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Godwin Livinus Bessing, at the Naval Headquarters last Friday.
The meeting aimed at strengthening bilateral defence relationship and exploring further opportunities for collaboration between the two countries in order to improve security and enhance regional stability.
Commander Walters emphasized on the need for partnership in potential areas of cooperation including operational support, training and capacity-building.
In response, the CNS extended a warm welcome to Commander Walters, underscoring the significance of collaborative dialogue in advancing mutual security interest and fostering a stronger partnership between the two countries.
