Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Real Admiral Issa Yakubu, at the recent graduation of the Volta Lake Transport Enchantment Project at the Eastern Naval Command on Monday 30 May 2022.
In his remarks, he mentioned that the increasing rate of accidents on the Volta Lake has necessitated the collaboration among stakeholders and the Ghana Navy to help minimise the occurrence leading to lost of lives, by training and equipping personnel with lifeguard skills.
CNS, also urged the 500 graduates of the Basic Water and Life Guard Training Course, to keep their professional skills, and techniques, and underscored the need for personal to be alert for their tasks and take the necessary precautions while at working to save lives.
