Three accomplished Naval Officers who recently graduated from the National College of Defence Studies (NCDS), paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu on Monday 18 November 2024, following their successful completion of the one-year intensive course.

The CNS congratulated the officers for their outstanding achievements and urged them to translate their newly acquired knowledge into actionable strategies to strengthen the Ghana Navy’s operations. “I am proud of your accomplishments and the honour you have brought to the Navy,” He remarked.

Rear Admiral Yakubu applauded Naval Captain Michael Addo Larbi for winning the Best Dissertation Award. He lauded him for his remarkable academic achievement, describing it as a milestone that reflects the Ghana Navy's intellectual and professional strength. He encouraged them to maintain their momentum and inspire their colleagues through innovation and strategic thinking.

The other graduates, Naval Captain Veronica Adzo Arhin and Naval Captain Albert Anku Kpesenu, were also praised for their exceptional leadership and academic performances during the course. Naval Captain Larbi presented his award to the CNS as a symbolic gesture of his commitment to excellence and service.
