The Leadership Training School (LTS) has held a graduation parade for 186 cadets of the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC) Course 8 on Wednesday 18 June 2025 at the Dei-Arms Square, Eastern Naval Command (ENC), Tema.
The event marked the climax of a 26-week comprehensive training programme designed to enhance the cadets’ tactical skills, physical endurance, mental fortitude, and professional expertise in narcotics control. It signifies their readiness and transformation to effectively tackle the complexities of illicit drug trafficking.
In his keynote address, the Minister for Interior and Member of Parliament for Asawase Constituency, Honourable Muntaka Mohammed Mubarak , underscored the vital importance of integrity, dedication, and professionalism as foundational values that the cadets must embody in their service.
He highlighted their crucial role in Ghana’s fight against drug trafficking, affirming the government’s unwavering support for NACOC’s efforts in producing highly skilled officers.
Cadet Yamyolia Nahajat Ananga Wuntima stood out for her outstanding achievements, earning the titles of Overall Best Recruit and Best in Academics, reflecting her exceptional dedication and performance throughout the rigorous training.
Cadet Lawrence Edem Mensah distinguished himself by taking the Best Male in Physical Training as well as the Best in Drill awards. Cadet Richard Kobetta was honoured with the Best in Shooting award, while Cadet Margaret Kudiabor was recognized as the Best Female in Physical Training.
