The Ghana Navy and Safewings Investment Limited have explored areas of collaboration aimed at strengthening the operational and institutional capabilities of the Ghana Navy. This was during a visit paid by a 4-member delegation from Safewings Investment Limited, led by the Chief Executive Officer, Dr Richard Owusu Atuahene, to the Naval Headquarters on Wednesday 9 September 2026.
The Chief Staff Officer (CSO), Commodore Ben Baba Abdul, received the delegation on behalf of the Chief of the Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Godwin Livinus Bessing. ‎Discussions centred on the commercial supply of technological equipment, hydrographic services, building structures, and training for capacity-building.
Commodore Abdul welcomed the collaboration and emphasised the importance of sustained engagement to ensure that it delivers practical value to the Ghana Navy.
‎The collaboration marks a significant step towards building a mutually beneficial relationship between the Ghana Navy and Safewings Investment Limited.
