A delegation from the Ziavi Traditional Area in the Ho Municipality has officially introduced Mamaga Tsa Tugbe I to the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Godwin Livinus Bessing. Mamaga Tsa Tugbe I is a naval officer known in service as Sub Lieutenant Seraphim Mariam Norgbey.
The delegation, led by Member of Parliament for the Ashaiman Constituency, Honourable Ernest Norgbey, paid a courtesy call on the CNS at the Naval Headquarters on Wednesday, 22 April 2026, following Sub Lieutenant Norgbey’s coronation as Queen Mother of the Ziavi Traditional Area. He added that the delegation was present to formally release her to continue her official duties as an officer.
Rear Admiral Bessing warmly welcomed the delegation and congratulated Mamaga Tsa Tugbe I on her successful coronation, mentioning the importance of tradition, which forms an integral part of society, to be upheld.
The CNS further urged her to drive development in her community and inspire young women to prioritise education to achieve greater heights, while capitalising on her achievements as a source of motivation to them.
