The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu has conducted a routine tour of directorates under the Naval Headquarters.
The tour took place today, Thursday 2 January 2025 to engage with personnel and usher them into the new year.
It also reaffirms the CNS’s commitment to ensuring operational excellence, fostering a culture of professionalism, and supporting the welfare of personnel at all levels.
The CNS was welcomed by the Chief Staff Officer at the Naval Headquarters, Commodore Bright Emmanuel Kojo Atiayao and later reviewed a Barracks Guard mounted in his honour.
He exchanged pleasantries with Deputy Chief Staff Officers, Directors, Officers, Master Coxwain, Fleet Chief Petty Officers, Chief Petty Officers and heads of the Defence Civilian Staff.
Rear Admiral Yakubu then visited various offices where he interacted with personnel acknowledging their collective efforts in advancing Ghana Navy's mission.
He emphasized the importance of teamwork, continuous improvement, and innovation in both administrative and operational functions during his interaction with personnel at the Naval Headquarters.
