Naval Captain Anthony Kofi Sarfo of the Ghana Navy has received the “Bundeswehr Silver Cross of Honour Award”, from the Federal Minister of Defence of Germany for his outstanding service to the German Armed Forces.
The Silver Cross of Honour award is a visible commendation for loyal service and exemplary execution of duties. Admiral Jens Nemeyer of the German Navy, presented the award to the senior officer in the presence of the German Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Mr Daniel Krull, at the German Ambassador’s residence in Accra yesterday.
Ambassador Krull commended Naval Captain Sarfo for his exceptional service as the Liaison Officer for the supervision and coordination of logistics of German projects in Ghana over the past five years.
He said the recognition came as a result of his loyal and professional discharge of duties, selflessness and dedication to the completion of a number of projects across the country.
