The newly appointed United States (US) Defence Attaché (DA) to Ghana, Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) Brian Gilbert has made his maiden visit to the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu at the Naval Headquarters on Tuesday 20 February 2024.
Lt Col Brian, who recently assumed his role as the US DA to Ghana was received with a warm welcome by the CNS, as they discussed various matters of mutual interest related to defence and security. The maiden visit is aimed at fostering greater cooperation and strengthening the already existing partnership between the US defence and the Ghana Navy.
