In a bid to promote unity and esprit de corps amongst personnel, the Ghana Navy held its End-of-Year-Get-Together yesterday, Wednesday 13 December 2023 at the forecourt of the Naval Headquarters.
The event served as a period of reflecting on the successes chalked over the period and also creating an avenue for togetherness amongst all and sundry.
The Chief of the Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu in a Christmas message to personnel at the Naval Headquarters, expressed his gratitude to them for their dedication and commitment exhibited throughout the year. He acknowledged the unwavering support of his staff in safeguarding national security especially within the maritime domain.
The event was preceded by a health walk and fun games aimed at boosting physical fitness and well-being of personnel. The event featured various games including volleyball, soccer, basketball and other indoor games.
