A delegation from the Aircraft Accident and Incident Investigation and Prevention Bureau (AIB), led by the Acting Commissioner, Mr John Mmeeb Kunyan Wumborti paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of the Naval Staff, Rear Admiral Godwin Livinus Bessing on Wednesday 14 May 2025 at the Naval Headquarters, Burma Camp.
Mr. Wumborti highlighted on the importance of partnering with the Ghana Navy, in the areas of capacity-building, training, and search and rescue missions to enhance aviation safety.
The CNS welcomed the delegation and emphasized the Navy collaborates with numerous institutions to foster partnership in aviation and other areas of mutual cooperation.
He thus reaffirmed the Navy’s commitment to modernising naval aviation through partnership with relevant key stakeholders.
As a gesture of welcome and affiliation, the CNS presented a customized hand-woven Kente stole to the Acting Commissioner.
