A six-member delegation from the People’s Liberation Army of China, on Thursday 14 November 2024, paid a visit to the Naval Training Command Nutepkor near Sogakope.
The visit was to inspect Chinese Military Aid Gratis Projects in the Command before they are commissioned.
The projects inspected at NAVTRAC included an 8-unit single-storey 2-bedroom accommodation and a Seamanship Training Block for the School of Maritime Operations.
The Flag Officer Commanding NAVTRAC, Commodore Solomon Asiedu-Larbi welcomed the delegation and thanked the government and people of China for the projects which will go along way to enhance the operations of NAVTRAC.
The leader of the delegation Senior Colonel ZHOU Xinjun the Director General, Overseas Military Engineering Construction Command, Joint Logistics Support Force of the People’s Liberation Army of China expressed satisfaction with work done.
