The Nigerian Defence College has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening military ties with the Ghana Navy, particularly through enhanced cooperation.
This was revealed during a courtesy visit paid by the Commandant of the National Defence College of Nigeria, Rear Admiral Abdullahi Ahmed, to the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Godwin Livinus Bessing, at the Naval Headquarters on Tuesday, 10 March 2026.
Rear Admiral Bessing expressed appreciation to the Commandant for the visit and commended ongoing efforts in deepening the longstanding ties between the two countries.
The visit forms part of broader efforts to deepen defence diplomacy and foster stronger partnerships.
