The Eastern Naval Command (ENC) has organised a health walk and fun games as part of the 2025
End-of-Year West Africa Soldiers Social Activities (WASSA) on Tuesday, 30
December 2025, at Biekro Barracks, Tema New Town.
The 2-kilometre walk and
competitions in football, volleyball, ludu, draughts, tug of war and indoor
games promoted discipline, unity, teamwork and healthy living among personnel
and community members.
The Flag Officer
Commanding, Commodore Solomon Asiedu-Larbi, commended participants for their
enthusiasm, highlighting sports' role in building character and readiness.
These activities
underscore ENC's commitment to personnel well-being, unit cohesion and
civil-military cooperation during the festive season, with Special Boat
Squadron/Fleet and HQ ENC/The Leadership Training School (LTS) winning
volleyball and football, respectively.
