The Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) of the Naval Training Command (NAVTRAC), Commodore James Adongo Agambire, undertook a familiarisation tour of the Command on Monday, 12 January 2026, at NAVTRAC, Nutekpor.
The tour took the FOC to the various units and schools within the Command, where he interacted with officers, ratings, and Defence Civilian Staff. The visit formed part of efforts to acquaint himself with unit operations while formally welcoming personnel into the new training year.
Addressing personnel during the tour, the FOC encouraged them to remain committed, disciplined, and focused in the discharge of their duties, wishing them a successful and productive training year. He reaffirmed the Command’s commitment to excellence in training and capacity development.
The FOC also used the opportunity to engage unit commanders on challenges confronting their respective units. He assured personnel of his readiness to work collaboratively to address identified issues in order to enhance operational efficiency and welfare within the Command.
