Lieutenant Commander Kofi Amponsah Duodu of the Ghana Navy has been awarded two (2) prestigious awards; the Rear Admiral Joseph C Strasser Junior International Leadership Prize and the Lieutenant Michael P Murphy Counterterrorism Prize at the United States of America Naval War College, Newport,Rhode Island, after successfully completing a one-year graduate-level programme on Friday 16 June 2023.
With 49 students worldwide on the course, he was the only African Student at the Naval War College, both at Senior Naval Command College and Intermediate Naval College classes to be awarded. He was also the president of the Naval Staff College Class of 2023.
