The Naval Headquarters has held a closing ceremony for Basic Imagery Intelligence Course 1-26 on Friday, 10 April 2026. The training aimed to equip personnel with the requisite skills to collect, interpret, and analyse imagery to enable accurate analysis and informed operational decision-making.
Delivering his remarks, the Deputy Chief Staff Officer in charge of Operations and Training at the Naval Headquarters, Commodore (Cdre) Steve Nyam, congratulated the participants on successfully completing the course and commended them for their discipline, resilience, and commitment throughout the training. He urged them to apply the knowledge and skills gained to support national operations and strengthen operational effectiveness.
Cdre Nyam expressed profound appreciation to the instructors for their professionalism, commitment, and tireless efforts for the smooth conduct of the course. He presented certificates to the participants in recognition of their dedication and successful completion of the course, and further noted that the knowledge and skills acquired will significantly enhance the Service’s operational readiness, strengthen institutional capacity, and better position personnel to effectively execute their duties.
