The Naval Headquarters held an opening ceremony for a Writers’ Cadre for diplomatic missions at the Riby Williams Mess on Monday, 13 April 2026, to strengthen administrative support for Ghana’s foreign missions.
The two-week cadre brought together 17 participants under the guidance of instructors from the Ghana Armed Forces School of Information Technology and the Clerical Training School, who equipped them with professional writing and administrative documentation skills required for effective service in foreign missions.Speaking on behalf of the Deputy Chief Staff Officer in charge of Administration at the Naval Headquarters, Naval Captain Isaac Aratuo, the Deputy Director of Naval Manpower Planning, Commander (Cdr) Ezekiel Anyimadu, stated that the cadre sought to address the administrative demands associated with Ghana’s missions abroad, while strengthening efficiency, accuracy, and professionalism in diplomatic deployments.Cdr Anyimadu entreated participants to approach the training with dedication and professionalism, and maximise the knowledge and skills gained from the programme in support of national development and Ghana’s diplomatic service.
