The Ghana Navy received students from the Advanced Command and Staff Course (ACSC), Defence Academy, United kingdom (UK) today, Monday, 28 April 2025 at the Naval Headquarters.
The visit forms part of their Regional Security Exercise 2 (RSE 2), also aimed at contributing towards the delivery of high-level training, in enhancing the participants' understanding of naval operations in Ghana.
The personnel who are on an international study tour in Ghana, led by the Course Director, Captain (Royal Navy) Charlotte Yemm were received by the Chief Staff Officer (CSO) at the Naval Headquarters, Commodore Bright Atiayao.
As part of the visit, the personnel engaged in knowledge-sharing sessions with the Flag Officer Commanding Riverine Command, Commodore James Agambire, Deputy Director Naval Intelligence, Commander Michael Asiamah and some other senior officers of the Ghana Navy.
Discussions focused on various aspects of naval operations, including maritime security, command and control, and logistics.
The CSO presented a plaque, and also decorated the Leadership of the personnel with a custom-made Ghana Navy stole on behalf of the Chief of the Naval Staff.
The visit is a testament to the strong partnerships that exist between the Ghana Navy and other international naval institutions.
