The Naval Logistics Command (NAVLOC) successfully conducted a transfer of authority and send-off ceremony for outgoing Command Coxswain, Fleet Chief Petty Officer Class One (FCPOI) Kyei Peter Kojo, at the Naval Shipyard, Sekondi, on Thursday, 29 January 2026.

The Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) NAVLOC, Commodore Eric Osei, presided over the transfer of authority ceremony at the Naval Shipyard in Sekondi. During the event, the outgoing Command Coxswain, Fleet Chief Petty Officer Class One (FCPO1) Kyei Peter Kojo, formally handed over command responsibilities to the incoming Command Coxswain, Fleet Chief Petty Officer Class Two (FCPOII) Manu Joseph Smith. This transition ensures continuity in leadership and operational effectiveness within the Naval Logistics Command.

In his remarks, Commodore Eric Osei commended FCPOI Kyei for his dedicated service, discipline, loyalty, and selfless contributions that strengthened NAVLOC. He also recognised the vital support of FCPOI Kyei’s family and wished him a purposeful retirement filled with good health.

Commodore Osei congratulated the new Command Coxswain, FCPOII Manu Joseph Smith, urging him to build upon the strong legacy established by his predecessor and to continue leading with excellence and commitment to the Ghana Navy’s mission.
