Members of the SIREN Academy aboard French Amphibious Helicopter Carrier (PHA) DIXMUDE, visited the Naval Headquarters on Thursday 24 October 2024. The purpose of the visit was to engage in discussions with the Ghana Navy and to deepen the relations between the French and the Ghana Navies.

The visit by the SIREN Academy, renowned for its focus on maritime studies and leadership training, and crew of PHA DIXMUDE underscores the importance of international partnerships in addressing contemporary naval challenges through intelligence sharing, joint exercises, and capacity building.

The Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) the Riverine Command, Commodore (Cdre) James Adongo Agambire in a welcome address, highlighted the critical role Ghana Navy plays in maintaining maritime security in the Gulf of Guinea (GoG), while stating the Ghana Navy’s dedication to ensuring safety and security at sea.
