A thanksgiving service was held for Members of Regular Career Course (RCC) Intake 32 of the Ghana Armed Forces on Sunday, 23 August 2026, at St Catherine Catholic Church, Burma Camp, to mark 34 years of commissioned service.
Reverend Father Colonel Francis Agyeman offered prayers for the High Command and members of RCC Intake 32, asking for unity, wisdom and strength as they continue to serve the nation. He also reflected on the importance of faithful and disciplined service.
The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Godwin Livinus Bessing, expressed gratitude to the Retired officers, and instructors for their guidance, discipline and contribution in shaping the members throughout their military careers. He noted that members of RCC Intake 32 had served in various command, operational, diplomatic, instructional and peace-support roles, both in Ghana and abroad.
Rear Admiral Bessing also encouraged members of RCC Intake 32 to continue cherishing the bonds of friendship built over the years. He rurged them to value every opportunity to reunite, celebrate their shared experiences and maintain the strong relationships established during their years of service.
As part of activities in marking the occasion, the CNS hosted members and instructors of RCC Intake 32 to a luncheon in recognition of their 34 years of commissioned service.
The service brought together the Chief of Air Staff, Air Vice Marshal Eric Agyen-Frempong, the Chief of Staff at the General Headquarters, Air Vice Marshal Joshua Mensah-Larkai, retired officers, instructors and other invited guests.
