The Senior Rates Mess at the Eastern Naval Command (ENC) conducted an initiation, elevation, affirmation and reaffirmation ceremony for newly promoted Senior Rates at the Senior Rates Mess in Tema on Thursday, 11 December 2025.
Guest of Honour for the occasion, Flag Officer Commanding (FOC), ENC, Commodore Solomon Asiedu-Larbi commended the Mess leadership for maintaining high standards of discipline and urged promotees to demonstrate exemplary conduct. Additionally, the FOC also congratulated the personnel, emphasising that promotions bring greater responsibilities and the need for enhanced professionalism as middle-level managers.
The President of the Mess Committee, Chief Petty Officer Class 1 Tsikata Korshie, highlighted the ceremony’s importance in upholding the Ghana Navy’s customs and traditions.
