The Eastern Naval Command (ENC) held a two-day marriage seminar for personnel and spouses at the Junior Rates Mess, Tema, from Tuesday, 19 to Wednesday, 20 August 2025. 
The programme was coordinated by the Director of Naval Religious Affairs, Commander David Benedict Quayson. The seminar addressed marital challenges, emotional strains of deployments and offered counselling support. Facilitators of the programme were drawn from the Ghana Navy’s Religious and Legal Affairs Directorates, the Domestic Violence and Victims Support Unit 
(DOVVSU) and the 37 Military Hospital Wellness Centre.
