Twenty-nine (29) midshipmen of Regular Career Course 62 have successfully ended their sea training at the Western Naval Command, Sekondi on Friday 16 June 2023.
The Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) Western Naval Command, Commodore Emmanuel Ayesu Kwafo at the closing ceremony held at the School of Marine Engineering and Combat Systems, charged the midshipmen to strive to be the best in every endeavor in their quest to become officers.
He said that the military was the only service that presented them with the numerous adventures and exposures in diverse ways and advised that they strive to be better than their past.
The FOC stressed the need for the naval cadets to exhibit good character. He said they were under training to lead people in the working environment hence come into contact with people who may be older and more experienced. He said it is prudent they respected such personnel and learn while maintaining the momentum to lead them.
He congratulated the Midshipmen for going through a successful course.
