Naval Cadet Ampofo Appiagyei Johnson, a Ghanaian Naval Cadet undergoing initial Naval training at the United States (US) Naval Academy, has called on the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Issah Adam Yakubu, at the Naval Headquarters in Burma Camp on Wednesday 19 June 2024.
This follows the successful completion of his one week orientation at the Naval Falculty of the Ghana Military Academy to acquaint himself with the Ghana Navy in particular and the Ghana Armed Forces as a whole to have a fair knowledge of his duties and responsibilities when he returns to the country at the end of his training.
Naval Cadet Ampofo is one of the 12 international students from 11 Countries who are undergoing training at US Naval Academy. The CNS encouraged him to take his training seriously to enable him commission as an officer. He assured him of the Navy's continuous support.
Naval Cadet Ampofo presented a gift to the CNS to show his appreciation.
