Executives of Wives Association of Retired Naval Officers (WARNO), led by Mrs Esther Aba Hagan, paid a courtesy call on the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS), Rear Admiral Godwin Livinus Bessing on Thursday 17 April 2025 at the Naval Headquarters, Burma Camp.
The visit was to congratulate the CNS on his promotion to the rank of a Rear Admiral and his appointment as the Chief of the Naval Staff.
The Association expressed their sincere gratitude to God Almighty for the life of the CNS and wished him well in his endeavours.
On his part, Rear Admiral Bessing was grateful for the honour bestowed him through the visit and the well wishes on his appointment as the CNS.
He thanked the team for their unflinching support, pledging to build on existing achievements towards advancing the Ghana Navy and safeguarding Ghana’s maritime domain.
The WARNO presented a citation and a bouquet of flowers to the CNS.
